This week we are sending encouraging thoughts and hugs to Karen who is rehabbing and recovering from a series of health issues including COVID. She likes dolphins, whales and sunsets so she must love the sea -- at least in my brain that is.
I pulled out my very old Crayon watercolors to attempt a beautiful magenta sunset. It wasn't beautiful. The colors were; but not so much the sunset. I found it was vastly improved by cutting it down so I framed it in an oval and mounted it atop an embossed bg. Added die cuts and nuvo drops to finish it off. The sentiment is typed using Bartleen Script font.
I hope the many beautiful cards head her way encourages Karen as she continues to rehab and gain strength. I hope your day is filled with loving encouragement and strength as well. TFL

I'm so glad you cut your sunset down and used it, rather than starting again. I think it's beautiful. Love the effect of the Nuvo drops carried from the sunset over onto the white background.

Gorgeous card, Debbie! Love your magenta sunset, and the way you framed it in the oval. The palm tree die-cuts, the whale, and the Nuvo drops really finish it off perfectly!
