This card is for today's sketch and yesterday's teaparty for someone who I thought needed a card. I could use some thank you cards so that's where this went.
Yesterday I was simply playing with some Daniel Smith watercolors, making four different backgrounds. Lately I've been revisiting the floating strips technique because I like it when I don't cover up too much of the background, since backgrounds are my favorite thing ever. So I used two of my wc backgrounds, cut one into strips and the butterfly. I hadn't a plan yet for the piece that is to the left of the circle and I thought the butterfly looked best on the right side so I should have cut the angle on the left. Oh well, still looks good. Sabrina sent me the sentiment along with the products I used for Beverly's TLC last week. I love the simplicity of this. Thanks for the challenges!

I love the simplicity of this, too! What a stunning work of art!
