I thought I would give myself a Christmas gift for next year, by getting a head start on my Church Christmas cards while ideas are still fresh in my mind. (I'm picturing how happy I'll be in November when I remember I made them already! LOL!)
I made 20 of these by using some simple masking and inkblending to create the radiance in the sky.
There are 3 scored lines under the sentiment, which seem to have 'disappeared' in the photography, but in real life, it is a nice way to add a little interest without distracting from the focal point.

What a fabulous way to depict star shine!! I adore your cards and Leslie's! I will have to try this myself, and while I admire you getting a jump on next year, I need a break from Christmas cards right now!

That crystalline sky is truly amazing done once but twenty times!? Wowsa!! Love your deceptively simple card design. The embossing under the sentiment is just visible after you mentioned it and looks wonderful.
