This is what inspired me today: https://www.catchmyparty.com/parties...-holiday-party
This is also for Wednesday's WCW-pine branch with a bauble. I'm really happy with how this turned out, except for the fact that I got carried away with the background color. I don't dislike it for that but it was hard to add the bauble. I did sketch it before I wet the paper and started to paint but I used too much pigment. I used metallic paints for the bauble, some pens and a shading pencil.
The card isn't finished because I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with this and I'm traveling and didn't bring any Christmas sentiments with me. Always forget something.
Thanks for the challenges!

This is beautiful! I love your long, full pine needles. Your branch looks more like the many pines we have here in GA than the ones I painted. Your ornament has beautiful light and dark; your background didn't overpower it!

I am always amazed at how you gals can craft wonderful cards while traveling. (I struggle at home . . . ) The cool blue is beautiful for the bauble and I bet the shimmer of metallic paint is awesome IRL. Super blend of colors in the pine needles too.
