This week the Tea Potter's are sending messages of hope and healing to Chrylene who has experienced a series of losses, most recently her brother. Our hostess, Jen, challenged us to use flowers and stitching (faux or otherwise).
I used my new GinaK stencil and die set. I wanted the flowers to look a bit brighter, so I embossed the entire piece with clear ep. Chrylene enjoys scripture, so I asked my niece, who is student of the Bible, for a selection and she chose Philippians 4:6-7, which I typed out using Bilbo Swash Cap font. In addition to the circle frame, I added stitching to the main panel, but it disappeared when I embossed it.
I hope the many beautiful and encouraging cards headed to Chrylene will lift her spirits and give some comfort as she travels this difficult road called Grief. I hope your day is filled with beauty and encouragement as well. TFL

Simply beautiful CAS creation. Love the weathered texture background with the white framing on the flowers - the die-cutting equivalent of white embossing powder.

Debbie, this is just beautiful and one of my favorite scriptures too. It fit right into your space beautifully. I am sure Chrylene will cherish this card.

Gorgeous! The look and sincerity in the sentiment are heartfelt. The design, the stunning flowers/colors, and the ef in the BG add up to perfection...

Wow, Debbie, what a gorgeous card! Love the verse you chose. Also love the colors! Using the clear EP really makes the flowers stand out!
