We are honoring Loretta aka lorettagrace this week as featured stamper chosen by Julie. I loved this: Sparrow Greetings by lorettagrace at Splitcoaststampers
I changed the colors using this week's challenge colors of real red, old olive, lemon lolly and pool party and used a hymn instead of a psalm verse and diecut frame instead of the corners and a different bird.
This is also for the teaparty for Vera, hosted by Lisa and we were to add some gold on our cards. Vera is 103 and Mac requested a card party for her to show her some love.
Congratulations Loretta. I hope you enjoy your week in the spotlight. Loved your gallery with your wonderful dp and layers.
I punched the bird and fussy cut the nest and glued a tiny bit of the bird to it and then popped it up with thin dimensionals.

Ok Shirl. I cannot see one single, itty bitty thing that you could have done differently to make this card even a smidgen better This is so stinkin' cute and so darn happy and so filled with joy. I love that fabulously fun bird singing his little heart out with that amazing hymn (one of my favorites for sure). Every detail is perfection -- his head skyward, the fun nest, the placement of the notes around the verse, the framing (love the scallops) -- perfection. I just ADORE this sweet card. Vera will be smiling every time she sees this. Awesome job.
