An easy challenge as I love colouring. I used Paper Rose Thanks A Bunch stamped on white card and coloured with Polychromos. Jayne gave me this stamp, and I had saved an Australian Christmas card from a cousin last year to use as colouring inspiration because I never think of proteas as pink - the ones I see in the Botanic Gardens here are usually yellow. Friends visiting from South Africa last month gave me a tea towel which was a print of pink protea
I sponged with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo around the edges, spattered with gold Twinkling H2Os. Base sponged with black and dotted with gold paint.

I thought first these were Artichoke flowers, but when I had a closer look I saw the Protea, beautiful coloring and loved to see the card on the challenge thread, your card has a great vintage feeling and I love vintage!!

I've never heard of these flowers, Sabrina. I love the image you shared in the challenge thread and this card you've made; your coloring is just beautiful. Love the fading text and sponging around the edges and the creative look of the black and gold card front.

I love this. I like protea. Here I see them in dark red as a cut flower. It is very pretty against that BG. I have it and a couple of others-I love unusual flowers! Paper Rose is great for that. I really the corner sponging...gives it a glowing feel.

I love your background treatment! Such a great frame for this wonderfully colored image! The bow shading is amazing, I was sure it was fussy cut and added later! Beautiful!
