Karen's challenge this week is Real red, crushed curry, coastal cabana, and granny apple green. She asked us to use dies for dessert. This is not something I do very often. Took watercolor paper and die cut them and watercolored. Created the background and added the sentiment and ribbon. I applaud the artists that use dies. They tried my patience with the gluing. TFL

This is really lovely. The BG watercolor wash is perfect for your die cut floral images. Yes gluing skinning die cut is trying. i use double-sided adhesive sheets. Also not easy, but you get a good attachment. Love the added score lines.

That's why they call this a challenge. Sometimes we win, and sometimes not. I think your card is beautiful, mf!

I love your pretty poppies, Linda! The BG really makes them pop! You are one of the best in the gallery at watercoloring. Hard to imagine that die cuts give you issues!

Your bg is So Beautiful, Linda, and it allows the poppy to show off so well! That itty bitty ribbon works really well with the tall & narrow poppies. Love it~
