My card for Teapot Tuesday which will be headed out to tickle the fancy of a fellow teapotter. Our challenge was to create a hat and this was not at all what I had planned. My favourite hat stamp (a fancy hat on a stand) is now toast. I don't know how it happened but all the detail is lost and it stamps an ugly blob. On to plan B or C or D and this is what I came up with. I haven't done an easel card in quite some time and the hat crown was an exercise in patience. In the end I'm quite pleased. Enjoy!

patience preservers here, if at first you do not succeed try try again, and you did and is perfection I dare say---so pretty and sorry your favorite stamp did not work out but this is great

What a super pretty hat...so elegant. Can you actually fold this down to send? If so, I must find the directions! Love that beautiful shimmery silk flower and pearls!
