For this week's CAS challenge we are celebrating Halloween. I decided to combine my sample card with this week's Featured Stamper Challenge. Crystalkbk is our Featured Stamper this week and I was inspired by this cute card. I had the Elizabeth Craft Halloween set on my to do list and I couldn't decide which stamp(s) to use on my card until I saw the cute BOO and realized that this pumpkin guy would make a great O. This was a really quick card to stamp and color. The "B" and the "O" are sugar cookie stamps from Honey Bee that I just colored completely in black. I wanted to add something around the border while still keeping it CAS, so I just added a quick black and white checked border around it by coloring with black Sharpie and painting with white acrylic. And my card wouldn't be finished without some Stickles for some added sparkle.

Superb! Those sugar cookie letters remind me of balloons -- all the more so because of your perfect white shadowing on them. They are the perfect shape and size for this adorable card. Your pumpkin makes a fabulous "O". Love the B&W checkered layer and the way you grounded each image with the light gray. Awesome and fun.

What a fun and cute card. I love it when an image is used to replace a letter in a word and this round pumpkin is perfect as the letter "O" in BOO. He's working hard to hold up the other two letters! I like the handmade checked border and the wonky stitch lines - they all add to the spooky look and feel of the card.
