CC - Granny's doing the Mambo in the Highlands, Sparkle
TPT - The Butterfly Effect, Vellum
I can't say if I like this or not. It's kind of growing on me as I look at it more.
Barbara gave us nice colors & a dessert to use sparkle. I used layers of Wink of Stella on the solid butterflies.
We are sending cards to Hildie, who is going through more than anyone should have to right now. Jen asked that we use Vellum - I have a purple vellum (for Highland Heather) dragonfly.
For my card base, I ran my Granny Apple pad over the raised side of a leafy ef; then placed the paper & folded to get the impression. It came out more sketchy than I thought, but I like it. I then stamped the flight of butterflies. Then I stamped & die cut the dragonfly. The sentiment is stamped in Melon.
This is in the mail tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by.

The "sketchy" leaves look great on this card and I, too, love your trail of butterflies. How fun to combine that with a dragonfly. Butterflies and dragonflies are both said to be mystical and symbols of transformation. Beautiful message for Hildie and a lovely card for her to enjoy.

I do like this card, Karen, and I love your experiments. Using the embossing folder as a stamp is so intriguing, and I really like the result you achieved. Love the vellum dragonfly over all the butterflies!
