Hello! I am hosting this week's Watercolor Wednesday Challenge! Our tutorial is from Kolbie Blume. At the end of her video, she lists what she loved and what she learned while painting. So instead of focusing on what I don't like about my paintings or where I messed up, I am going to start listing what I love and what I learn.
I love the color tones I achieved. I love how the light seems to glow.
I learned that I need to check my gouache before splattering. The gouache was so watery that instead of stars, I think I made snowballs.
I learned that I need to work on trees and scumbling.

Great color in that sky and I like the way your white splatters blended into the blue. And your scumbling is awesome. This is really beautiful. What a great series of tutorials you found for us.

Beautiful painting and from where I'm sitting, I'd say your scumbling is spot on. I see all kinds of interesting treetops and a glowing night sky, too.!
