The video was excellent to learn painting trees. I used Arches watercolour paper and the paint were Windsor Newton.
After watching the video using green painters tape I followed the steps from the video to do the trees. My changes were I used the torn side of the tape for the outsides of the tree as trees. I didn't want the trees to be to straight. I use a brush to make the darker lines on the outside of the trees. Added the background colour before taking off the tape to work on the tree colours. Enjoy

Good job with the torn edge twist - it gives your trunk & branches a more aged & weathered look. The little owl and sentiment add bit of wisdom & whimsy.
