LeAnn is our hostess this week with a really fun color challenge calling for Pool Party, Real Red and Petal Pink. Dessert is flowers.
Red & pale blue were the colors in both my mom's kitchen in the '60's and my daughter's kitchen which still has elements of it's 1940's kitchen. Even my first home had cupboards that were painted bright red on the inside. So I definitely had vintage kitchen on my mind as I played around with this challenge.
There's just a tiny bit of Petal Pink - I stamped the spoon with Crumb Cake on Petal Pink cardstock.
I added the flowers with the Butterflies & Flowers decorative mask.
I'm so curious to see what other themes come up with these colors. Hopefully you will play along!

Wonderful blending on your bg, Chris. Such a pretty flower pattern that could have been a wallpaper design back in the 60's. In Massachusetts where I lived, just about every house had wallpaper in each room. Very touching sentiment~
