Today we are getting our inspiration from BABA SOUK, a fabulous site chosen by Kia - great choice. I chose to do my hunting thru the Pinterest site and found this for my inspiration: https://pin.it/suydB4i today.
I lightly spritzed the card stock, placed it in the embossing folder and ran it thru my machine 3 times. Used heat gun to remove any moisture. Placed the die over the embossed piece and die cut. It does not cut close to the edges of the flowers and stems, and is going on a black base, so to avoid leaving a white margin around it, I colored the edges with black, then colored the blooms and stems. Colored a piece of scrap card stock with green and die cut the sentiment. Colored bits of card stock and punched dots. Assembled all the pieces onto a black base and covered the dots with glaze.

Gorgeous - I have those very poppies on my dining room table where I have been watercolouring them in stages. I love how you have coloured them and they look great against the black

Absolutely gorgeous! Wow, what a fabulous job you did in coloring this lovely card! Love the poppies' colors as they really pop on the black background.
