I cheated my way through this card big time. Sorry. I am what I am. Ask any of my coworkers, they'll tell you I do what I want. It started as the WCW challenge which was abstract angels. That was a big fail. So I stamped and watercolored some angels and called it good enough. Then I decided to use the sketch which I turned on it's side and used a sentiment that has three lines of words for the three strips. But it all worked together for this week's Tea Party for Jean's Aunt Joyce. Jean's Uncle Don passed last month, so we are sending paper hugs to Joyce. Jean told me that her uncle loved to read history and newspapers, so I used my very old newspaper from 1888 and sponged some fluffy white clouds to go along with the angels. Jean says her aunt's favorite colors and pink and lime green, so I used those colors in my watercoloring of the angels.
I love that Lydia says no card is ever wrong here at SCS. Funny thing. Maybe I am tired but I saw your card and I just admired everything about it and until you mentioned that you went in a different direction I wasn't even paying attention to that. I was paying attention to the cute little angels! Another fabulous card!
