It has been a crazy month. But this morning I made a real quick card for a few of this week's challenges. Late to the party - hoping life settles down a bit soon.
Saw a colour combo in this week's Inspiration Pinterest gallery that made me think of these preprinted card bases that I recently 'rescued' from our place in AZ.
I stamped the floral image in Versamark and heat embossed with Melon Mambo. The Melon Mambo kind of got lost in the bg so I blended over most of the embossed image with Picked Raspberry distress ink until it was more visible. Stamped and die cut the main portion of the sentiment and stamped the tiny bit of the sentiment directly onto the base of the card. I will likely make several of these for the box of cards I make for the church.
Hopefully the bg isn't too busy to consider this CAS!
CAS676 - ICE Time! = I = ink, C = Comforting Commands stamp set (I have wanted this Greetery set since the day it was first released and FINALLY ordered it!), E = Embossing
F4A625 = Heart and/or Flowers - Skipped the hearts but did use flowers
USEIT2022 = Supplies that were left behind in AZ in March 2020 finally made it 'home' with me
Thanks for stopping by. Hopefully I get to spend a little more time in the Rubber Room in the next few weeks. I 'rescued' enough stuff from our place in AZ that every time I added a box to the pile that 'needed to go home with me' my DH was starting to threaten that I'd be holding it on my lap for the 3 day drive home. (He came through for me though and now I need to use all those supplies!)
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your day!
