There is always hope in a garden so the first even slightly warm day will find me working in my yard and digging in the dirt -
Anyhow, I pulled out a 30-year-old stamp that has been inked once because the right side just turns into a black glob. Today I inked around that area then hand drew the rest of the picture with a black sharpie, colored with prismacolor pencils and matted with black cardstock. BTW - the woman is the 74 year old me that has climbed up a ladder to prune my tree . . . .
Next, I made some homemade stencil paste (cornstarch, white glue & white acrylic paint) tinted some with peal-ex powders and applied over a leaf stencil for my bg. Finished with a simple sentiment die cut to an oval.

Love this wonderful stamp- and the part your rescued and hand drew is wonderful! Please be careful on that ladder by the way! I love the idea of your background using your hand made paste, and can only image the shimmer IRL!!! I love this image and card!!!

Love this rescued image. Oh to be able to limb trees, ladders again - could probably get up the tree but getting own with dodgy knees might be fun!! Great card.
