You know how I love this particular Youtube creator, because she speaks my local language. I particularly loved her advice this morning not to overwork the ripples on the water--"who cares? People get that it's the ocean." But then I didn't actually take her advice. I totally overworked my ocean, but, hey, people still get that it's the ocean. I have a particularly muddled mess underneath that the sentiment banner. My other issue was that I think my favorite paper (Fabriano Hot Press) let me down today with respect to the clouds and sun. I just couldn't dab off the color and get the white clouds and sun to show. In the end, I really wanted the sun and clouds to be white, so I grabbed my white reinker and painted the sun and clouds in. After I added the sentiment and Stickles to make the water sparkle, I felt that it needed some birds, but I didn't want to draw them in myself and mess it up. I wasn't sure if I had the proper stamp, but luckily I found it in my TCP collection.

Pretty combination of melons and yellows in that tropical sky and I love how you kept the sun's reflection more concentrated - mine got too spread out and lopsided but such is my world these days. I'd never have known your water wasn't perfect all the way through (had considered covering some of my water with a sentiment banner, too, but a 2-inch-wide sentiment seemed like overkill - LOL) Beautiful job my friend.
