SCSCCJAN22 - for Fan Club members only - this Christmas card challenge always has a theme and this month the theme is to CASE a card by Stacy aka Twinshappy. We want to honour Stacy for hosting the challenge for 10 years.
CCC22JAN - this other Christmas card challenge on SCS is open to everyone, not just Fan Club members. It has an optional theme each month, but is also a place to post any Christmas cards you make in that month.
Because I need (and love) to make so many Christmas cards each month, I usually play along with both.
The minute I saw it, I knew I wanted to use the same stamp. It's one I've only ever used once since I bought it, but I really like it. I stamped it and coloured it with alcohol markers. I used a lighter kraft cs than Stacy did, and made my card much more CAS as I'm no good at combining images with dps, ribbon, lots of layers, etc. the way Stacy can.
I die cut the image into a square like Stacy did and added a sentiment in a similar place. But changed Stacy's A2 card size to a square card.
My card base is the same light kraft cs as used for the image. I added a layer of polka dot textured paper to it and then popped the image up on fun foam.

What a fabulous stamp to use. Colored beautifully and love the glossy accents. The square shape shows this off so well! This would be a good Christmas card for a gardener! So fun to share designing for this challenge with you too!

Susan, your card is phenomenal....not only in design, but how you executed it. The Glossy Accents really make the ornaments look like glass. The subtle Swiss dot frame makes a lovely surround to your main image.
