Well, my sweet friends! It's been a very long time, and I'm not back. However, I am happy to be joining in the fun of making a Christmas card for the Dirty Dozen Christmas Challenge here at SCS! This is an extra special challenge I really wanted to join, and I did manage to finish a card even though it wasn't exactly what I had planned.
I want to honor our beloved Stacy Morgan (Twinshappy) who has hosted this amazing challenge for ten years. She is one amazing gal and a dear friend. Love you, precious Stacy!
This is a super CAS card that was about all I am up to doing right now. But it felt good to color and finish a card. Yay for me! I chose a card where Stacy cut off a portion of an image, and that has never been my style. I am such a chicken! Haha! But Stacy is a card-making machine, so I hope you will join us and make a card to honor Stacy.
I've not been making many cards and certainly have not been uploading anything for a very long time here on SCS. Many of you may not even know me -- it's been so long. I have posted a couple of cards on my blog, but I need to upload another one with an update on where I am in my health journey. For now, I'll just say that I am so thankful to be here and that I am once again being monitored to see where we go from here. I have more bloodwork and see the oncologist in February, and we are praying all is well. If everything looks good, I get another reprieve for three months and have a CAT scan. If all looks good, we'll continue to keep on that monitoring schedule. God has been so gracious to me, and I know He always has me in His loving and caring hands.
I wish you a beautiful and blessed year. I'm sure we are all hoping for a better year. Wishing you God's richest blessings in your life. Sending much love and hugs to you all! I've missed you all so much! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and for the cards I've received during my journey. You've definitely cheered me on.
Thanks for taking a closer look at my card. And Happy New Year! (((HUGS)))

Cheryl, I am so sorry to hear of your health struggles. I knew you hadn't been on SCS for a long time but never knew why. Sending you much love for the journey you're on and positive thoughts for healing.
I love the card you've made in honour of Stacy. Such beautiful vibrant colours and great layout (stepping outside your comfort zone and going off the edge of the page!!).
