I stamped and masked the cranes. One card, they are embossed, the other one was my initial trial run with no embossing, but I didn't want to waste it. Foreground sponged in with torn paper as a mask, and milled lavender. Bamboo background stencilled in with green and some touches of gold. I cut around the beaks so that I could tuck the banner sentiment in.

How clever to have them hold the banner! Inspired and inspiring! Definitely non traditional but especially great for people who love birds or have cranes in their area.
