It made me think of this Nativitydie I purchased a while ago on Amazon that I hadn't found time to try out yet.
I cut out two panels from a textured linen cardstock. The die has the nativity and the camel panels on it so you cut two and adhere them together along the tabs.
Before I put the panels together to make the box, I adhered vellum on the inside so when I put a battery votive candle inside it would shine through with a soft glow.
The hardest part of putting this together was fussy cutting the vellum along the top edges!

Wow, Julia, this is absolutely stunning. It looks like a lot of work but your finished masterpiece is well worth it. I'll bet it looks fabulous with the light shining through the vellum. Now, don't smoosh it when you put it away!!!
