A big congrats to Dagmar, the newest Featured Stamper (FS766)! She has a wonderful gallery & uses so many great techniques. I chose THIS card to case. I kept the winter scene inside the masked shape but used different images & dies & made my scene a little bigger.
For my scenic Christmas card, I die cut the large scallop circle & used the reverse mask to cover all but the area where the scene would be. I used a curved mask to cover the sky area & sponged in the water, then used the reverse part to mask the water & sponged in the sky, leaving a white area between the two. I cut a bunch of masks for the rocks, since mine were all individual stamps, & stamped in the rocks. I covered the rocks & water & stamped the different size trees along the rocks. I used the scallop shaped mask to cover the scene, then stamped the snowflakes w/ white ink & embossed w/ holographic powder (itâs a little hard to see). A white Posca pen was used to add âsnowâ dots to the sponged scene & also a little stickles for sparkle.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ closeups & links: The Write Stuff

Exquisite stamping and coloring. Stunning card. Love the layout, colors, scenery, layering. I know this isn't CASE, but it has that clean crisp look of a CASE card. Awesome job.

I'm impressed with all the masking you did to create this Wonderful winter scene, Julie! So Beautiful, and I love the silhouette of the deer looking at everything and giving this scene life~
