I stamped the wheel two times on my grid paper before stamping the image on the paper (which I think is supposed to look like leather?) so that it would be a fainter shade of blue, then stamped the sentiment over it. I notched the corners, sponged blue around the edges, mounted it on gold cardstock and added brads. I played around with different arrangements of the BG papers, but decided the red needed to be just an accent rather than equal to the blue. I made a faux nautical knot in the twine. I also ran the white through a woodgrain EF, but it's mostly hidden.

I love this sentiment and the reminder that we always have some choice in how our days go and how we react to things around us. Super hjob of carring through the nautical theme with both your papers and embellishments.

Just lovely. There is a wonderful aged look to this card. Definitely looks like all the things used on the card have been at sea for some time - the leathery background and the frayed rope.
