I have to share something personal today. Today is tough for me....it's the last time I saw my Dad. No, I didn't lose him in the tower collapse but instead, the stress of seeing and watching it on TV and recalling all the memories of being in the 2nd World War stressed him to the point of having a stroke. He died 7 days later. I live in Canada but the loss affected us here too. My heart goes out to everyone affected by these terrible events.
Anyways, my card was done on a Gel Plate using Distress Ox inks. I brayered the ink onto the plate, then laid on some grasses to create the print.
thanks for looking.

Ooo - another beauty from your gel plate, gorgeous Karen. I am sorry that your Dad was so affected by the events of 9/11. The wars and awful events like 9/11 have certainly taken their toll. Keeping you in my thoughts.

This is a beautiful card and I am constantly amazed by the magic you work on the gel plate! Always love seeing what you create.
So sorry to hear about your Dad. So many lost so much in the aftermath. Sending hugs!
