...to our Featured Stamper761 'Give Her a Whirl' shirlb19! Thank you, Nancy for bringing Shirley to the spotlight this week. I had such a fun time perusing her gallery and realized I had quite a few of her cards in my favorites (especially Fall ones). It was Frosty Wishes that sparked my card. I used a mug, embossing folder, and bit of trim. Shirley's card is all frosty and glittery and kool.
This week's TLC863 was brought to us by Cook22 (Sabrina). We were to Cut Away a Corner. I chose to use an large oval to show a bit of the fab Basic Gray 'Life of the Party' orange woodgrain paper and the beautiful collage mug from York's Little Art Studio. Thank you, Sabrina...I can see lots of shapes will work for your TLC.
This week's CAS654 is 'Coffee Time', hosted by LuvLee (Lee) I used this collaged coffee/tea mug as my main image and topped it off with the Greetery sentiment: let's get together for a cup, fussing cutting. I confess to drinking much coffee. Thank you, Lee...can't wait to peruse the gallery!
Last, but not least, this card fits into Penny627 (Jeanne) Color Challenge860. 4 very hip and retro colors! I must confess I was excited to try to work with this combination. My cosmos flowers on the cup should be a bit more curry, that is my heavy handed coloring skills! The cup was stamped with 'Fallen Leaves' a pretty brown, though it looks a bit more black.
Thank you hostesses for your continued inspiration. And to Shirley...so excited for you to be in the SCS spotlight this week. You SO deserve this recognition.

Wow, you incorporated 4 challenges in this one beautiful card. Is that some kind of a record? I think I'm pretty cool when I do two. At any rate, it's always great to know you are creating and see your posts. Brightens my day.

Wonderful colors, patterns, and, of course, coffee cup. Even the cut out is fun. Your case is wonderful, Susan. Very thoughtful, trendy/retro, and beautiful. Hugz

Love this card and every itty bitty detail starting with that great dp that you embossed. That texture is fabulous and I was immediately drawn to it. But, then, of course, I spent some time with that great mug too. Love the cut out corner and the peek-a-boo look at the woodgrain. Fabulous use of this week's colors and "high five" on so beautifully combining those four challenges (so should it be a "high four" instead...LOL). Awesome, creative card.

Wonderful patterns and textures on this card! And four challenges, wow! Your cup is a wonderful stamp with so much to see looking at it. I love it! Your oval cut out lets it really stand out.
