Today Dawn gave us a challenge about our favorites. My favorite medium is water colors. One thing that makes me happy is when I can make a card that is personal and the recipient knows they are special. My granddaughter asked me to make a card for her best bud through all of school. Thought a portrait would be ideal. I don't do faces well, so decided to do the back version of the two of them graduating this Sunday. Sketched and erased, but finally had something that looked presentable. Watercolored, and added details with the micron pen. The sentiment was hand printed. Ava loved it so that make me feel good. This is utterly fabulous Linda - so beautiful and touching. I can understand why Ava loves it - and that you painted it is the icing on the cake. Beautiful work Linda, as always.

Wow Linda.......this is wonderful. Can't believe that you actually drew that image. I thought for sure that it was a stamp that you could buy.
Beautiful card.
