For this week's Teapotter Challenge, Jen/Jennifrann challenged us to include a dog in our card for Lee Ann (Pam/Bailmac's friend) to cheer her up!
This cute dog peeking over the fence is an old digital art that I got from PCCrafter, and it reminds me of our neighbor's dog who would peek when it smells something cooking, as if to say, "Can I have some of whatever you're having?", LOL. I fussy cut it then put craft foam underneath to make it dimensional, even under the paws (it doesn't show well in the photo). The "fence" is a strip of white cardstock scored every half inch, and the top is another half-inch strip popped up with craft foam. The sky was done with a DIY cloud stencil, the sentiment was printed.
I hope this card will brighten Lee Ann's day a bit; thank you to Jen for the challenge, and Pam for the opportunity to cheer someone up!

Oh gosh, we had a couple of dogs like that! There was one who loved carrots, and any time he heard peeling he came along hoping it might be carrots and not apples or potatoes. How bright, happy and totally cheerful. I love the sunny garden feel. Great fence with the extra border along the top.
Since my dress-making sewing machine currently badly needs a service, my card-making one has moved downstairs till I finish a few projects, so it's just as well I didn't have my heart set on recreating Henrietta to send Lee Ann!!

This is so super cute, Gem. Love how you built your fence for this happy looking dog. Ha, ha on the sentiment. Yes, dogs always want something when you are eating it, lol. Love the dainty little flowers you planted and those are wonderful clouds! This is sure to make Lee Ann grin from ear to ear!
