This is my sample for CC845. Barbara is our hostess and she chose night of navy, blushing bride and vanilla for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is metallic.
For my card I thought I would go masculine. It was a bit tricky with the blushing bride color and then I decided to stencil some clouds in the background.
My sailboat is from the 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit- "on my mind". The background paper is from one of the envelopes. I opened it up and cut it to size for designer paper.
Stamped some water in night of navy ink and added some night of navy enamel dots. The corner rope is a die from CottageCutz. I cut it in very vanilla cardstock and then sponged it with crumb cake ink.
Hope you can play along with us this week. I am anxious to see how everyone interprets these colors in their designs.

Mary, I'm impressed how you created the perfect masculine card using this week's colors! You were sneaky how you worked the blushing bride in the clouds, they go so well with the ship! I love the whole thing!

Fabulous father's day card! My husband and I went on a sunset sail in Ogunquit, ME many years ago and I'd forgotten it until I saw your lovely card. A pink sky at night is a sailor's delight!
