I don't ever seem to have sympathy cards on hand so I am making this one just that. I stencilled my clouds in different colors by sponging, stamped my silhouette garden/butterfly, sprinkled a little water on the scene, and added the sentiment.

Brenda - that sponged rainbow of clouds is just gorgeous and such a pretty setting for those silhouettes. I have that stamp set, too, and just may have to case this the next time I need a sympathy card - it speaks to my heart and quickly found it's way into my fav's!

Your interpretation of the inspiration photo is fabulous. The varied colors in the sky are stunning and using black silhouettes for your images really make the whole card pop. Sad that such a beautiful card is for a sad occasion but I am sure anyone who receives this will feel the love. Fabulous card.
