I sure was thrilled to be able to host a 108th birthday tea party today! WOW! A special birthday like that deserves a special card. Which is why I was all over the place trying to decide what to make for Louise. I started off with the righthand column of pop-up, flowers, and the number 108, but then I decided I wanted to do the middle row of teacher/school, texture, and flowers. Then I switched to large image, bold color, and pop-up. And ultimately, I hit almost every spot on the "Bingo" card. To represent Louise's teaching career, I grabbed this Colorbok DP with red, yellow, and green apples on it. But since I was combining this challenge with Barbara's fabulous and fun colors, I tried coloring over the red apple with a dark pink and the green apples with a more teal color. But the red was still too red, so I added some texture with my new PFS paper glaze--love it! I didn't quite get scripture in there, but I did choose this fun mason jar bouquet digi with "Jesus Loves You" on it. Plus I get dessert for the color challenge. After I had dessert, I still wanted cookies, so I stamped out this fun PTI BINGO card and tucked it behind the flowers. Lastly, I added a glittery 108 and some Stickles and Nuvo drops for even more texture. I hope Louise enjoys her special personalized card and can feel the love that was put into it.

BINGO! You filled the card -- the bingo card and the birthday card. I love that you managed to hit very aspect of Louise's life in this single frame. I agree with Rita, that Louise is sure to feel the love you put into this. What a fabulous card to help Louise celebrate her fabulous day. You rock!

How bright and happy. The flowers in the jar add an old-fashioned school feel, for me. Thanks for a fun challenge theme, Jen - I'm bummed that I totally forget to include a bingo card on the front.
My dad HATED bingo - he stopped going to a day care centre because of it, which is a shame because he really enjoyed the art classes. My MIL, on the other hand, who had also never played it before being widowed, saw it as a great opportunity for keeping her mind agile and focussed.

What a stellar card, Jen! I love all the angles, the wonderful stencil on top of the 'teacher apple dp', the message in the jar, and those glittery numbers, 108! Outstanding and it appears you had a blast covering all the Bingo bases!!! Yep, luv it.
