I realize now that my daffodils could certainly have been bigger and I wouldn't have had to paint so much background. That was as hard as painting the flowers. This was another fun challenge and I may paint another one.

Boy do I agree with you, Pat - I. too, find large expanses of bg difficult to do. I love the flow of the greenery around those daffodils - such a pretty natural bend to the leaves and and not the least overdone. (I kept adding leaves to hide my bg - LOL) I like the delicate look of those blooms, too and your spatters are exactly what I strive for but can never achieve. I need someone to teach me how to spatter correctly!!! Wanna come visit when / if COVID is every under control??
