I really enjoyed strolling through Debbie's gallery! I found myself, oh, I want to try that (embossed dies, Hearts), a very cool junk journal cover, super coloring. However it was This Old Chair that I kept coming back to.
I wanted a chance to try the watercolor technique and I just happened to have the same stamp. I've always loved all the positive words surrounding the chair. My changes were the color palette, the sentiment, and the style of the stitched frame. I also layered the panel. I hope I captured the essence of your beautiful card, Debbie!
Not sure why, but has been playing in my head all night, so coming across the Tim Holtz paper sentiment, I knew it was meant to be. Thinking of my loved ones who have done just that!
Thank you, Julie for bringing us Debbie's gallery this week as our newest Featured Stamper. I've noticed the positive spirit in your messages, Debbie. Keep growing your gallery, you're off to a great start!
I appreciate your comments...

Fabulous colors and use of the chair. I first thought of Kenny Chesney and the 'Old Blue Chair'. Your song makes much more sense and touched my heart. Great card my oRe friend.

Fabulous case. Love the repeated stamping and the colors. Very cool. Today was the first time that I have seen this stamp. You used it well. Wonderful layering. Great card.

Yep, we're the reflection sisters today. Bet you have the stamp I used as I have this one. I have to try this WC trick Debbie shared. You did it masterfully!
