This is for my g-nephew (16) who has covid...he's doing ok, at home but has to quarantine from the family. His symptoms aren't too bad. I was trying to make these look like band aids...not so sure if I succeeded...oh well. Here is my inspiration. This is also for the MMJ challenge to make your own washi...I went with the first video and used masking tape. I like how it turned out but to be honest it was a lot of work for the result. I probably could have just done it on top of strips of paper rather than tape. The tape didn't stay sticky anyway..oh well...I did get messy...and that's for the MIX this week to use your fingers and get messy...I did applying the acrylic paint.

Polly, this is so cool! Cheerful and fun and super card for your nephew. I hope he stays with light symptoms. I really like how you incorporated a lot of colors and patterns on those band-aids. Fun! Hugz

So sorry to hear about your nephew, Polly. I love those bandaids. I need some my fingers are cracking a lot around my nails with all the constant hand washing! They'd look so pretty with bandaids like this!

Gosh, Polly - I'd LOVE bandages like that. They totally look like the right shape. I remember making my own washi with masking tape for a challenge before I had any bought tape, and deciding it probably wan't worth it. But if it looked like this I'd think it totally was worth it!!

Your band aids are so fun and cool and seriously, who wouldn't love to be a bit colorful when one must wear a band aid! Thanks for the tips on creating...you definitely got the color and patterns down!
