Today's challenge was to create clouds. I learned much from the video posted. This sky uses the second technique where you watercolor in the shapes of the clouds with clear water, and then paint blue in around that. I went back to pull in a little of the cerulean blue, going back again with very dilute Ultramarine blue for the underneath shadows. I created a little field rimmed with trees to ground the sky with a little splatter of Umber. I have been working on clouds all week for a class and they are challenging. I left the sentiment off as I expect to use this to send a little note of some type to someone. Thanks for this awesome cloud challenge for us.
