Yay! Ardyth chose MaryJo (Icela2) as this week's Featured Stamper. She is super sweet and has a wonderful gallery. She made a lot of great DTGD cards and I cased two of them. For this card, I cased this one from her gallery:
Instead a stamped butterfly and die cut leaves, I die cut my butterfly, water-colored it, and splattered the background around it. Watercoloring a die cut is this week's watercolor challenge technique (WCW015) - chosen by Linda (Holstein).I put it off as I couldn't decide on what die cut to use.
Thanks for the inspiration, MaryJo. Enjoy your week as well. Hugz

This is BEAUTIFUL, Nancy! Your butterfly is a NICE CHOICE for the die!!! LOVE those little splatters too! NICELY DONE & BIG INKY HUGS for your SWEET VISIT!!! ;)<3
Oh, how gorgeous! I adore everything about this. I love the splatters. I have tried Lydia's technique several times where you added dots with the end of a pencil eraser but mine never look good. Splatters, now that is something I might be able to do. I love this!
