I had several possibilities I considered and this is one that I carried through. I bought my first ever proper stand mixer during lockdown...I saw one remaining in the local discount supermarket on the way home from work one Friday. Well, I wasn't going to be able to carry that on my bicycle - so we drove down the next morning and it was still there, and it's seen great use since it came here. My dark Russian rye bread comes out of it a whole lot lighter than when I knead it by hand , and marshmallows are a whole lot easier.
My background is Brushos on a coffee filter, I expect it was left from a coffee filter background session. I stamped it with the measuring jug, trimed it to size and edged it with a black marker.
I cut the apron from black card, and from a scrap to patch the pockets on. I stamped the Diva Chef and sentiment on white card and fussy-cut them. The chef is coloured with Polychromos pencils. I added ribbons to the apron for ties. The food mixer was cut from scraps, and edged with a marker for a bit more definition (Mine is actually white and turquoise).

Love your scene, Sabrina! Having a good mixer makes for better food as well. I went through two KA and my daughter is waiting for mine to stop working but I don't use it much anymore. I used to make a lot of bread but that was what John liked. Now I use it to make the kids cookies.....Glad you have your mixer now! Great card as well.....TFS

Sabrina I love everything about this. The BG is awesome and that cute apron looks as though it’s been made out of fabric. Awesome card and I’m with Jean and would love to sit at your table and taste your cooking. TFS. Happy day

I love foodie themed cards and yours takes the cake I think your chef has a Nicole Kidman look about her. Love the layout, the coffee filter repurposing and the pockets on your apron adds more festive fun. I still use my mom's standing 1940's Sunbeam. Great for mashed potatoes, too.

I love your cooking themed card Sabrina. Several years ago my hubby and I thought our meals were getting to be the same every week and we decided to incorporate a new meal every week. We are now 6 years in to "New Meal Sunday" and have added a ton of new meals to our weekly meals. I even got 1 meal listed as a blue ribbon on Just a Pinch that we just love. Not that we are awesome cooks but it is fun to find something new to cook every week as there are so many foods out there that we have never tried. Thank you for the great sample for the challenge.
