Shirley is hosting today Free for All Challenge and has challenged us to use Labor Day as our inspiration. Labor Day weekend is always spent at the beach with family. Lots of family. And this year will be no exception, 2020 or not. I drove through RI last month on my way to visit my best friend in CT, and stopped in at Bella Art in Johnston. They recently reopened and I wanted to support them. I picked up this adorable Mama Elephant stamp set on sale. I stamped almost all of the little chicks and cut them all with my ScanNCut. I had a really great time coloring them up with my Copic markers. Then I used my border dies to build up a scene to place them on. I sponged Salty Ocean on my blue paper to give the sky some depth and sponged Antique Linen on a cream colored paper and stamped some extra texture with Itty Bitty Backgrounds. Popped up pieces on foam squares and added Stickles to the ocean. I'm either the chick sunbathing on the blanket with a cocktail or floating in the ocean. I haven't decided yet. I'll let you know on September 8th.

It's so important to have some fun to look forward to. I love your fun scene with all the happy chicks. I'd go for the drink if I were you. We all need a drink about now.
