I have combined the Watercolor and Color Challenges this week.
Linda has asked that we give details of how we created our version of the technique, so here I go ....
The peony and sentiment were stamped on Watercolor Paper with Versamark ink and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. I used markers to add colour to the darker parts of the images as shown in the video tutorial. I then moved the colour into the petals and leaves with an Aqua Painter. Using the dry on dry technique, I kept adding more colour to the petals and leaves with an Aqua Painter and some ink dabbed on a craft sheet until I got the depth of colour that I wanted. For the background, I dabbed ink onto a craft sheet and added a little spritz of water. I started off with darker colour under the main flower and over the sentiment and then added more water to the ink on the craft sheet to create a watercolour wash for the rest of the background.
Thanks for looking.

This is a beautiful flower. Annette! I love the colors. Actually mine are quite similar this week, maybe that is why I like them. Wish I would have thought off your blue BG, it helps set off the flower and make it stand out more.
