Kia, is hosting the Watercolor Wednesday this week and she has chosen a wonderful tutorial for us to follow!
I will be completely honest with you, I was afraid I couldn't freehand my daisy so I asked my daughter to help me with my homework! She drew some very light lines for me to follow and we erased them but I had just enough so I wasn't totally on my own! I totally enjoyed watercoloring this flower and adding shadows. I can't wait to try this again and the next time I will use my own sketchy flower!

I love that flower - your daughter did a marvelous job of getting you started with that sketch. I am fascinated by the play of shadows both on the flower itself and on the stem - your bg wash is just lovely and translucent.
