My husband and I are celebrating our 37th Anniversary. He loves astronomy and star gazing. We have seen the NeoWise comet 3 times this past week. So, I decided to make him a starry night sky.
I began with a piece of white cardstock. Using my round acrylic block, I randomly applied DOX inks by rubbing them onto my block, spraying with water and pressing onto my paper. When all was covered, I stenciled in the rays, then stamped the sentiment and clear heat embossed it. I splattered with water, then white and black acrylic paint.
thanks for looking.

Karen, your piece is so much more interesting than the original. It's just fantastic. Thank you for describing your creative process in case I want to give this a try. And congrats on your anniversary.
