This is my first entry for this week's Alphabet challenge to use the letters O & W. My O is the first word in the sentiment and the W is watercolor. It is also for the first Watercolor Wednesday challenge to try watercolor look ink smooshing - though a month late!
I did ink smooshing with the four colors of distress ink listed above (using one color at a time and sometimes drying in between). After getting the panel to what I liked, I heat embossed the three feathers on it. Then I began to think I got carried away with the ink smooshing so I created another panel and then finished both into cards.
I smooshed some more ink on my acetate sheet and painted the color directly into the feathers to intensify their color just a bit. I heat embossed the sentiment and popped it up. After much playing around, I added the sequins and called it done.
Thanks for the challenges!

Your distress oxide background is a jaw-dropping beauty, Catherine!! And then you added those gold embossed feathers on top! How exquisite!! Into my favorites!!
