This is a Father's Day card for my youngest son, Mark. Playing SCS challenge catch-up, I found eight ( challenges that could be used to make my card, as follows:
1) CT0620 - Fan Club Monthly Challenge, June 2020 - "Good as Gold!" 6/15/20. I went with the sparkle and shine of using metallic foil embossed to create a tooled faux leather look.
2) AOCC20 - All Occasion Card Challenge - June 2020 - 6/1/20. This is one of my three Father's Day cards needed.
3) USEIT2020 - Use It Challenge - Ongoing annually. Use things gathering dust from lack of use...new or old. Something new purchased a long time ago & never used...or something old and not re-used in a long while. My Hammered Metal Embossing Folder was purchased six months ago and I'm finally using it!
4) ABC13I9 - Alphabet Challenge - "Letter I" - 5/27/20. My "Letter I" is the inkpot with quill feather pen.
5) WT788 - Ways to Use It Challenge - "What...No Stamping!" - 4/16/20. No stamps...only dies. My sentiment is my own creation using my computer and printer.
6) F4A503 - Free for All Challenge - "Ancient Times" - 10/11/19. Incorporate something from long ago on your card. The earth globe is depicted in "metal." The first known metal globe was created in 1480. I have also included an inkpot and quill feather pen.
7) IC677 - Inspiration Challenge - "Caspari" - 11/24/18. This rattan oval tray made me think of my Hammered Metal embossing folder, and I thought this would be a great addition in copper for my masculine card! Here is its link: Rattan Oval Tray.
FS569 - Featured Stamper - "NanCee's" - 12/31/17. I used this card wonderful card of Nan Cee's as inspiration for my card: Ship on Old Distressed Map. I love the old map and ink distressing and thought it would make a marvelous Father's Day card. I kept those features, but changed from a ship to an old world globe, more layers, a metallic embossed background (and the map) and my own sentiment creation.

Beautiful card, Carlene! Your layout reminds me of an antique desk with a blotter. Love the copper globe and ink quill. Another amazing challenge combination.
