I have a video from Lydia with a gorgeous bird she did with this technique and also you can find a tutorial here on SCS.
I stamped my image with Distress ink using Antique Linen which is a light ink. Then, I used my watercolor brush to start with a little dark ink in Victorian Velvet around the stamped lines and pulling it away so the stamping doesn't show. I colored the centers with a golden color. I did a splash of blue around the image.
My butterflies are a tiny punch.
I did one out of the box leaf.
Hope you will join us and have fun.

Gosh Brenda, this is phenomenal! The flowers look so soft and real. I love how you stamped with pink, than pulled away the colors so the lines wouldn't show. Extremely clever and the leaf outside the frame was a perfect touch. Gorgeous work.

Oh Benz, what a fantastic no line water color creation. It's gorgeous and like the outside of the box. I don't know what medium I can supposed to use for the stamp to show the no lines. I'll have to check out the video. See ya!

Your soft colors are so pretty and love all the detail you were able to achieve.

You did an amazing job colouring these dainty pink helibores (what we call them here - mine are getting ready to flower now). Love the light and shade you achieved too.

Good tip on the darker color to hide the stamping! I should have looked at your card before I attempted mine. Your card is lovely and the shading is so well done.
