I took my inspiration from both the teapot and the Pen pal story and decided a collage would be a fun way to bring lots of different elements together. I started with the Italian script as my base then added the pen nib. Randomly stamped some colorful postage marks and postage stamps then added the floral spray and butterfly for a bit of whimsy. flowers were colored with prismacolor pencils amd added some stickles crystal to the flower centers and buds. Finished with a band of metallic gold paint and mounted onto the brown card base. Since I didn't get the inkwell on my card, I decorated the envelope with that and some additional script.

Beautiful collage and the images you used work so perfectly together. Love the vintage feel you created. Perfectly captures the theme of this week's Teapot challenge. Really lovely.

This is so fantastic Linda and just perfect for the challenge too. How clever to turn this into a letter written in perfect penmanship on beautiful stationary. I love this and I know Barbara will too! ~Karen.
