Bet your hubby loved this! The fold makes a perfect little chicken coop for your adorable hen. Congrats on starting your gallery. Looking forward to more of your creations.

This is a great card and a great way to use some paper that would otherwise say it was Easter paper. But it looks very appropriate here. Love the differentiation between chick and Hen that you make in your description. I think most of us have moved on to the hen stage and many a lot sooner than we would have hoped.

How wonderful, Karen! I love your chickie and your story to go with it! This whole first upload displays what have now become some of your trademarks including, great folds and the wonderful design work that goes on them, as well as your sweet sense of fun and humour. It’s also very honouring for me to come into a gallery and see one of my designs staring back at me! A couple of my chicken designs have inspired other chicken lovers just as Anna Wight originally inspired me. Here are my inspired by Anna designs in cas e you want to do more chickie cards for your fella! Don't be Chicken to try Some Kraft by mitchygitchygoomy at Splitcoaststampers
