I just received this stamp recently and wanted to get some colour on it. I love these big flowers so could not resist this stamp. I used a mix of Daniel Smith and Winsor Newton watercolours to paint and have 5 different colours on the flower, but only two, one being a mix of colours, on the leaves and stem. The sentiment is stamped with Pinecone from VersaFine Clair. I have more information, pictures and links on my blog.
Thanks for looking.

OH my GOODNESS!!! I love big floral stamps like this, and I think it will need to go on my wish list! You have colored it SO beautifully with Daniel Smith watercolors (and your Windsor Newtons--I have the first set from Altenew)!!! I recently bought a couple of small packs of Daniel Smith watercolor pans, my first, plus a set of 6 tiny primary tubes to play with but I haven't broken them out yet.
You have colored them to perfection, I love the depth you have achieved in the yellows to deep yellows and rust in the petals, and your background really pulls the whole piece of art together. I am impressed when I see splatters, especially black ones--you are brave, and they add a great artistic element as well. This should be framed, matted, and displayed proudly, this is a wonderful work of art!!!
This is going into my favorites, I absolutely LOVE it!!!!!!!
