For this week's WTUI challenge, which you can find HERE.
I loved the cards in the TLC gallery with simple florals stamped on the shaving foam background, as in the cards by Shelly and Lantana. OK, so this isn't a simple floral, but it's the one that came to mind. I stamped and embossed the peonies in black.
Then I used bleach to lift the colour from all the background areas. Trimmed it a bit away from the edge, used a Posca white pen to lighten the border a bit and edged it with a black Sharpie. Added it to a base with a simple dry-embossed frame and decided it didn't need anything else.

Beautiful effect, Sabrina! The colors you used are lovely together, with just enough variation to "spice" things up. Love the simplicity of the layout...of course!

Fabulous and frameable and faved! I did some shaving foam backgrounds but did not know how to use them. Now, seeing this is very inspiring! Love the square shape of your card!

That is a great flower and the framing and color you got from the bleach lifting is incredible Sabrina. I agree simple is all this needs to let that flower really pop.

What a gorgeous card this is Sabrina. It is breathtaking! Love what you did to create this flower panel and I love the white embossed framing you did around the image panel. ~Karen.

FABULOUS! Love that this was all a shaving cream background created into a whole different look by bleaching out the parts you wanted different than the flower themselves! Love the multi-framing and matting look!
