Polly is our hostess for the Teapot Tuesday challenge this week - you can find the challenge and learn why we are sending our cards to Melanie HERE.
I decided to bring a doily - and a teacup full of flowers to cheer.
Studio Katia image stamped on Bristol and coloured with Polychromos pencils, Enamel Accents on the berries. I cut the doily and background from an old LOTV pad, which I also used for the background layer. I think I stamped the green script myself, but now I can't remember what I used. I stitched all round the edges before adding it to the base. Added the doily and image with a torn edge. ODBD sentiment stamped and embossed in black on a scrap of old DP, and trimmed to fit the Spellbinders label. It still looked a bit bare (I don't usually make cards this size, but it was the only way I could fit the cup and the doily), so I added some more Enamel Accents dots.

I love how you changed up the stitching on the border, adds such interest. The torn edge, aged doily, all perfectly assembled.

Beautifully done, Sabrina, love every detail with the pretty flowers in the tea cup and fabulous dp bg with the script! Love the doily, too! I saw your comment re Earl Grey tea - the best Earl Grey tea I have tasted is sold at a chain shop here called T2, called French Earl Grey.

This was the stamp I was looking for in my collection and never did find it. I love how you used it and totally need to get back to looking for mine once I get done with graduation cards. Melanie will love this Sabrina.
